❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. How does the calculator determine my car's resale value?
Our tool uses standard Indian market depreciation rules based on the car's age. It also checks if the car is over-driven compared to the average (12,000 km/year) and adjusts the final price based on its physical condition.
2. Does high mileage affect the car's resale value?
Yes. If your car has been driven significantly more than the expected average kilometers per year, its market value drops slightly due to extra engine wear and tear.
3. Why should I enter the "On-Road" price instead of "Ex-Showroom"?
Using the On-Road price gives a more realistic valuation because second-hand buyers consider the RTO taxes, registration, and initial fees you already paid when buying the car.
