❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. What is the most accurate way to calculate car mileage?
The "Tank-to-Tank" method is the best. Fill your tank to the auto-cut limit, reset your trip meter, drive for a few days, and then refill to the auto-cut limit again. Put those distance and fuel numbers in our calculator for 100% accurate results.
2. How is the "Running Cost per km" calculated?
It is calculated by dividing the Fuel Price by the Car's Mileage. For example, if petrol is ₹100/L and your car gives 20 km/L, your running cost is ₹5 per kilometer.
3. Why is my car giving less mileage than the company claim?
Company claims (ARAI) are tested in controlled, ideal conditions. In real life, heavy traffic, AC usage, rapid acceleration, and low tire pressure can drop your mileage by 15% to 25%.
